Perpetual Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament takes place

  • Every Thursday at the Cathedral Chapter Room from 8a.m. - 6p.m.
  • Each Wednesday and Friday in St. Joseph's Church immediately after the 10am Mass and ends at 8pm.

The Lady Chapel

The Pietá is the central piece in the Lady Chapel of St. Macartan's Cathedral. There one can pray, recite the Magnificat with help from the tapestry in the backgroud and light a candle.

The Relic of St. Faustina

A relic of St. Faustina of the Divine Mercy reposes beside the confessional chapel in St. Macartan's Cathedral. St. Faustina whose name was Helen Kowalska was a sister of the Congregation of Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy in Krakow in Poland. She died October 5th,1938 and was canonized by Pope John Paul II on 10th March, 2000. She is Apostle of Divine Mercy. All are welcome to visit and pray at the reliquary.
